摘要
In this study,the impact of photoperiod on daily growth rhythm and the impact of rearing mode on instantaneous growth of Pelodiscus sinensis were investigated.Turtles are grouply housed in fishery while they are separately housed in laboratory experiments.In this experiment,RNA/DNA ratio was chose to reflect the instantaneous growth in P.sinensis.Two photoperiod regimes—12 h light with 12 h dark (12 L:12 D) and 24 h light with 0 h dark (24 L:0 D) accompanied with two rearing modes—individual (Ⅰ) and group (G) were used as treatment factors.Turtles were housed under specific experimental conditions for 15 days,after then five turtles were randomly sampled from each group every 2 h for 24 h.Muscle tissues were dissected for the measurement of RNA/DNA ratio.The results showed that there exists endogenous circadian rhythm of RNA/DNA ratio in P.sinensis.While the rhythm in turtles grouply housed was strongly influenced by photoperiod,the endogenous rhythm was totally masked.And the ratio in separately housed turtles was significantly higher than that in grouply housed turtles.In conclusion,the individually rearing mode can better reflect the intrinsic physiological process in P.sinensis.
