摘要

Liquid natural gas (LNG) receiving terminals use cryogenic LNG to condense the boil-off gas (BOG) generated during the process for safety reasons. However, due to the downstream LNG demand and the actual environmental conditions in operation, the LNG demand and BOG evaporation do not always meet the conditions for complete BOG treatment, so it causes additional energy consumption and environmental pollution. To solve the above problems, this paper develops a mutual coupling of BOG treatment and LNG cold energy recovery process based on the original process and establishes an optimization method considering the variation of operating conditions of the receiving terminal. The proposed method is applied to optimize the installation and operation of new equipment for the coupled process with the aim of maximizing the economic benefits. The results show that the method proposed in this paper can achieve better operational benefits and the coupled process is suitable for a wide range of operating conditions and has good operational benefits.
