Summary

We have systematically studied the connection (correspondence) between hadrons and their quark-component nuclear modification factors and the flavor (mass) ordering at both parton and hadron levels in nucleus-nucleus collisions at energies available at the CERN Large Hadron Collider, using the PACIAE model. It turns out that the correspondence and the mass ordering generally hold, irrespective of the rapidity, centrality, reaction energy, and collision system size. The nuclear modification factors of hadrons in the final hadronic state show clear mass ordering, which should be studied further both theoretically and experimentally.
