摘要

The role of interfacial coherency in the kinetics of austenite to ferrite transformation in Fe-C-M (M is a substitutional element) alloys is studied with phase field method. It is found that while incoherent interfaces possess a much higher intrinsic mobility than semicoherent interfaces do, the solute drag effects at incoherent interfaces is also more significant. The contribution of semicoherent interfaces to transformation kinetics may not be ignored if the coherency-dependent solute drag effects are considered.
