摘要
In this paper, a free boundary problem related to the ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS) model is under studied. We establish the global existence and uniqueness of the solution for the model with the non-symmetric free boundaries. Moreover, a novel finite difference scheme with second-order accuracy in both time and space variables is developed for simulating the growth of tumor in situ. Numerical experiments show that the method is effective, accurate, and reliable.
