Summary

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are considered as one of the most important anode materials because of their controllable preparation, large specific surface area and controllable aperture. However, low electronic conductivity causes unsatisfied lithium storage capacity. In this paper, the Sn-MOFs/G was synthesized by a simple onestep precipitation. The Sn-MOFs/G samples can enhance electronic conductivity evidently and electrochemical properties as the anode for lithium ion batteries (LIBs) compared to Sn-MOFs. It shows a superior specific capacity of 462 mAh similar to g-1 at 1 A similar to g-1 after 500 cycles, excellent rate performance of 265 mAh similar to g-1 at 2 A similar to g-1. Therefore, the simple and efficient synthesis route could be widely used to prepare different materials for the application as the LIBs anode.
