摘要

Ti3SiC2 particles reforced Al matrix composites with 10 wt.% similar to 40 wt.% Ti3SiC2 content have been successfully fabricated by spark plasma sintering (SPS) method. The influence of Ti3SiC2 additional content on the mechanical properties and tribology performance of Al/Ti3SiC2 composites have been investigated. The results revealed that the 25 wt.% Ti3SiC2 particles reforced Al matrix composites had the optimum mechanical properties and tribology performance. The best compressive and flexural strength of the composites were 395 and 385 MPa, respectively. The minimum friction coefficient and wear rate of the composites were 0.19 and 1.08 x 10(-6) mm(3)/Nm.
