摘要

The settling velocity of oil droplets is an important basic data for designing the size of the separator in a rational and economical way. In order to improve the accuracy in the calculation of oil droplet settling velocity in oil and gas two-phase separator and reduce errors,based on object-orient-ed programming technology, a Java language program is written by using high- efficiency structured and modular programming language to apply the calculation of oil droplet settling velocity in oil and gas two- phase separator and to realize the calculation of oil droplet settling velocity by Iterative Method, Flow Pattern Partitioning Method and Archimedes number method. Through the comparison of the results of each method, the result with the highest accuracy of the calculation was selected, the oil droplet settling velocity was got, which provides basic data for oil and gas two-phase separator design and conform to the development trend of the oilfield digitization.
