摘要

Enrichment is a valuable strategy to further improve the detection limit. In this work, ZnAl-layered double hydroxide (ZnAl-LDH) nanosheets array in situ synthesized on Al foil was used as the enrichment frame for surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) substrate to further improve the detection limit of anionic pollutant. High density of Ag nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) with an average diameter of 29 nm sputtered onto the surface of the ZnAl-LDH could create localized electromagnetic field enhancement for SERS detection. The as-prepared Ag-NPs@ZnAl-LDH composite substrates showed improved sensitivity to anionic pollutants methyl orange and erythrosin B, demonstrating the promising potentials to improve the detection limit of anion analytes based on SERS spectroscopy.
