摘要

In order to improve the electromagnetic performance of switched reluctance motor (SRM), a novel 12/8 switched reluctance motor with hybrid excitation segmented rotor (HESSRM) is proposed in this paper. The rotor of the motor is composed of an aluminum block and fan-shaped silicon steel sheets, in which the fan-shaped rotor is embedded in the aluminum block. The stator adopts full pitch winding, and the permanent magnet (PM) is embedded in each stator tooth. The hybrid excitation of armature winding and PM effectively improves the average torque. The rotor adopts fan-shaped segmented structure to shorten the flux path and reduce iron loss. The characteristic of the proposed HESSRM is verified by finite element method and compared with conventional SRM. The results show that the average torque of the proposed HESSRM is increased by 56.75%, the torque ripple is reduced by 60.93%, and the iron loss is reduced by 2.44%.
