摘要

In order to simplify the location of the reference vector, avoid calculating a large number of redundant switching states and selecting the optimal switching state, and apply the space vector modulation to any level converters, a novel space vector pulse width modulation (SVPWM) strategy based on sector triangle numbering for multilevel converters is proposed in this article. First, the reference vector located in the large sector N is rotated clockwise to Sector I, and the numbers Tn, K, and q of the small sector triangle where the rotated vector is located are calculated. Then, the three vertex vectors of the small sector triangle where the reference vector is located are directly calculated using N, Tn, K, and q to realize the reference vector location, which is a very simple reference vector location method. Next, the switching state corresponding to the space vector is calculated using the minimum common-mode voltage constraint, which does not need to calculate the redundant switching states and select the optimal switching state. The proposedSVPWMstrategy is applicable to any level converters without increasing the calculation workload and has strong engineering applicability. Simulations and experiments verified the correctness and feasibility of the proposed SVPWM strategy.
