摘要
Based on Sr2+ doping at the A-site, this investigation examined the effects of B-site doping Ni2+ on the structural, morphological, magnetic, and magnetocaloric properties of La0.8Sr0.2Mn1-xNixO3 (x = 0.05, 0.1, 0.15) (LSMNO). LSMNO was created in this work using the sol-gel technique. The R-3c space group's rhombohedral structure of LSMNO was determined utilizing X-ray diffraction and refining. Simultaneously, the cell volume and particle size decreased with increasing Ni2+ doping. Additionally, magnetic studies revealed that LSMNO undergoes a ferromagnetic-paramagnetic transition near T-c and that the Curie temperature (T-c) of La0.8Sr0.2Mn0.95Ni0.05O3 is 297 K. The maximum magnetic entropy changes (-Delta S-M(max) were 3.12, 2.21 and 1.19 J/(kg K) at an external magnetic field of 3 T and a relative cooling capacity of 168.36, 152.14 and 160.85 J/kg, respectively.
