Tackling Challenges in Perovskite-Type Metal Oxide Photocatalysts
摘要
Solar energy-driven photocatalysis is one of the most promising ways of environmental remediation and clean energy production. Over the past few decades, great efforts have been devoted to develop nontoxic, low-cost, efficient, and stable photocatalysts. Among them, perovskite-type metal oxides and their derivatives (layered perovskite-type metal oxides) have attracted wide attention because of their unique structure and optical properties. This review summarizes the progress and application of perovskite-type metal oxide photocatalysts, focusing on discussing the effects of different material modification methods on the structure and photocatalytic properties. The possible design strategies of perovskite-type metal oxide photocatalysts in the future are put forward, which are of great significance to the development of photocatalytic materials.
