The application of mental image in clinical practice of TCM reflects the thinking process of syndrome differentiation and treatment. The process, which is undertaken on the“mind”, one of forms of representation of mental image, can be summarized in understanding of image, collection of image, storage and decision of image, examination and analysis of image, confirmation of image.
