摘要
This short communication considers the problem of robust elliptic positioning (EP) in alpha- stable impulsive interference based on the lp-norm minimization criterion. We start with converting the associated nonconvex optimization task into the well-established lp-minimization framework of iteratively reweighted least squares (IRLS). While the effect of p is taken into account by a weight update step in each IRLS iteration, we employ an assortment of surrogate functions, in order to effectively handle the location update subproblem using the majorization- minimization technique. The superiority of our proposal over a number of existing EP methods in terms of localization accuracy in alpha-stable impulsive noise is demonstrated via numerical simulations.
