Membrane catalysts eliminate trace pollutants

The presence of residues in products generated by high-efficiency catalytic reactions is detrimental. In a recent work published in Nature Nanotechnology by Andrea Schafer and colleagues, membrane catalysts are shown to promote processes while enhancing water purification by degradation of micropollutants via filtration-driven effective collision.
