The ancient Chinese characters originated from pictographs, these graphics can be viewed as the simple transfer of things at that time, ancient people used these rules to record the history.The building as a unique cultural phenomenon, some of the ancient Chinese characters graphical meaning also can reflect the historical facts of the architectures.Taking the traditional building element gallery for example, through the analysis of the relevant ancient Chinese characters another level of content:form and space of the architecture gallery could be revealed.
