Wideband polarisation-insensitive metasurface with tunable near-field scattering focusing characteristic

摘要
A wideband polarisation-insensitive metasurface (MS) has been proposed for tunable near-field scattering focusing. The MS is composed of dual-polarised unit cells with tunable reflection phases covering a range of 360 degrees. Designed with the optical path method, the proposed MS demonstrates precise tunable and polarisation-insensitive near-field focusing in a wide band from 11 to 13 GHz in both simulation and experimental results.
