摘要

Activated carbon fiber (ACF) is a promising support with high specific surface area and adsorption performance, which is highly desirable for practice applications. Herein, we synthesized a composite of platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) and dialdehyde modified sisal fiber-based activated carbon fiber paper (ACFP), in which platinum ions were in-situ reduced to PtNPs by the aldehyde groups of the dialdehyde modified sisal fiber. The PtNPs-loaded activated carbon fiber paper (Pt/ACFP) was synthesized by wet-papermaking, carbonation and activation process, exhibited light weight, great flexibility and could be facilely separated, recycled and processed. The excellent catalytic activity of Pt/ACFP could be attributed to the synergistic effect of the highly dispersed PtNPs and the unique hollow structure of sisal fiber. Under optimal experimental conditions, the specific surface area of Pt/ACFP was 687 m(2)g(-1), the conversion rate of formaldehyde (HCHO) could reach about 100%, and the catalytic performance could be well maintained after five times recycle. The high catalytic ability and simple fabrication method indicated that the Pt/ACFP composite has a promising application for HCHO oxidation.
