摘要
EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea is the first event with the theme of the ocean. The objective of the event is to propagate the concept of Blue Economy which corrthines ocean, environment, and development together. Blue Economy exhibits the internatioiml agreement with green growth and sustainability. In order to overcome the crisises of global ecosystems, resources, and asymmetric growth the sustainability of human civilization is require：l through the construction of eco--economic efficiency enhancement and ocean-oriented econonfic and social systems. In this study, we suggest the realizable plans of Blue Economy through EXPO 2012 Yeosu Korea, examining the feasibility of Blue Economy in sectoral ocean industries. To actualize Blue Economy the innovative development of ocean science and technology is needed first. Subsequently, sustainable environment, policies and systems based on public-private cooperation, and long-lasting investment are required.
