摘要

High hydrophilicity, single-atom thickness and strong coordination properties of graphene oxide (GO) were utilized to create a multifunctional membrane for separation of oil-inwater emulsions. The new Fe(III)-doped GO membrane possessed the superwetting property of GO and Fe(III) catalytic sites for H2O2 activization promoted oxidative degradation of organic fouling agents. It was shown that the self-cleaning membrane can be utilized in a high-throughput flow through system for remediation of contaminated water.
