A novel asymmetric fused chromophore for non-doped organic light-emitting diode with small efficiency roll-off

摘要

We have designed and synthesized a novel asymmetric amine-carbonyl fused emitter, BACQ, having a hybridized local and charge-transfer emissive state. From the single-crystal analysis, the BACQ exhibited nonplanar configuration with multiple C-H center dot center dot center dot O and C-H center dot center dot center dot pi interactions, which could rigidify the molecule and provide good thermal stability. Non-doped device based on BACQ present sky-blue emission with maximum luminance of 11180 cd m(-2), and external quantum efficiency of 2.48% with small roll-off.
