Syntheses, Crystal Structures, and Properties of Two New Ion-Pair Compounds Based Upon bis(1,2,5-thiadiazole-3, 4-dithiolate)nickelate Anion and Substituted Benzyltriphenylphosphium Cations

摘要

Two new ion-pair compounds based on [Ni(tdas)2]2 (tdas= 1,2,5-thiadiazole-3,4-dithiolate) anion with substituted benzyl triphenylphosphium cation, [2ClBzTPP]2[Ni(tdas)2](1) and [4ClBzTPP]2[Ni(tdas)2](2), have been prepared and characterized by UV, IR, ESI-MS, molar conductivity, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses indicate that 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1, while 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n. Some intramolecular contacts such as CH center dot center dot center dot Cl, CH center dot center dot center dot S, CH center dot center dot center dot N or S center dot center dot center dot Cl weak interactions observed in 1 and 2 consolidate the crystal packing and generate a 3D network structure.
