摘要

Dynamic wireless charging (DWC) is an attractive technology which can significantly extend the mileage of electric vehicles. However, experimental evaluation on a DWC system is often implemented at high costs due to the requirement on a movable platform. To address this problem, this article proposes a receiver-side-oriented DWC simulator characterized with wide speed range, compact size, flexible configurations, and controllable testing conditions. First, the emulated I-type multiphase receiver system and its basic operating characteristics are introduced. Then, the fundamental principle employing receiver-induced voltage equivalence and an implementation for a DQ-phase receiver DWC system are demonstrated. Further, movable platform experiments and circuit simulations are conducted to verify the accuracy of the simulator at full-range driving speeds. Finally, application demonstrations for operating the simulator are presented to show the feasibility and flexibility.
