Summary
The novel scheelite-structured NaSrLa(MoO4)(3) (abbreviated as NSLM) ceramic was synthesized by traditional solid-state process, and its microwave dielectric properties were investigated. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and Rietveld refinement showed that all samples belonged to the tetragonal scheelite structure. SEM images show that dense ceramics are formed at the optimal sintering temperature of 750 degrees C, exhibiting excellent microwave dielectric properties (epsilon(r) = 10.59, Q x f = 58,412 GHz, tau(f) = - 47.78 ppm/degrees C). P-V-L bond theory was exploited to explain the microwave dielectric properties of the ceramics. In addition, the co-fire compatibility between the ceramic and silver demonstrates that it is an excellent LTCC candidate material.
